This really was the first year that I have actually watched the grammys, I mainly watched it to see what Lady Gaga was going to wear. But I actually enjoyed it. First the Arthea Franklin tribute, loved it. Lady Gaga's born this way performance was incredible. Im still a little confused on to what her horns were about, but Im still fine with it. Janelle Monae Im going to get to know you. Your crowd surfing failed BIG time, but its okay. Thats one of my life goals, is to crowd surf. Sweet, sweet, sweet Bob Dylan sing louder! I couldnt hear you but the bands before you, Mumford and Sons and the Avett Brothers, you were fun Im buying you on iTunes, were more entertaining, Im just saying. Esperanza Spalding you are amazing, same with your hair and that green dress I looooved it. Justin Bieber and Usher youre always fun and your dancing Usher mmmmm thats hot. And cute little Jaden Smith, where was your sister? I would have liked to hear I whip my hair that would have been a fun twist. Did anyone notice Will and Jada singing along and doing the arm motions? I thought that was a fun family moment. Cee Lo Green, what the heck? Are you trying to be Elton John or something? I did not appreciate that. But its was okay when Gwyneth Paltrow started to sing! Did anyone get sick of "forget you" the 2nd time it played on the radio? Its a little over played Cee Lo! Oh Lady Gagas 2nd outfit was the sickest thing ever. It was like a batman suit but sleezy and the butt imprints was what topped it off! Katy Perry, youre just there. I like you a lot and I really wanted you to start swinging on that large swing but you just raised instead and I really didnt appreciate you having a train on your dress you cut out half of the movie that was playing behind you. But you made up for it by Teenage Dream. Mick Jagger, youre just classy and who was Kim Kardasian with when it showed the Smiths again? Hmmm... I LOVE Barbra Steisand!! I am not embarassed to say that I know almost all the words to any muscial she has been in! Theres always some room to have Barbra in! Nicki Minaj, I love her so much. But is she wanting to be the next Lady Gaga but black with her interesting costumes, if anyone saw her perform for SNL you know what I mean. And whats was with her facial expressions? Rihannas hair is FUN! I hope her and Drake get together. Her performance was like a glammed African tribal dance around the fire party. And JLo's dress I want it! But probably a bit longer and I wouldnt want to have my boobs falling out of it. Arcade Fire is just unbelievably amazing! I first saw them on SNL, ever since then Ive loved them, I love the husband wifey duo. And finally Album of the year. It was a hard desicion Im sure. Arcade Fire, Eminem, Lady Antebellum, Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry. I for sure thought it was going to be Lady Gaga her album is amazing but suprisingly it was the underdogs, Arcad Fire. What a great award show.
